It looks like that linux.com is a alternative to Facebook, Xing, etc… You can create your profile, make friends, join groups, create a blog and much more. In my opinion this is a good idea to bring the FOSS community together.

Hab ich das nur übersehen oder wird wirklich kein OpenID unterstützt? Ich hätte mich jetzt mal echt gefreut, wenn die bestehende Community wirklich einbezogen wird (ok wird sie auch so), ich hab nämlich keine Lust auf so viele Konten im Internet und hätte mich gefreut, wenn man sich einfach mit seinem Launchpad Konto anmelden kann oder seinem OpenSUSE Konto. Ich weiß, dass das spezifische Distros sind, aber das würde doch sicher noch mehr Nutzer anziehen, oder?
