md raid support is being worked on, the various outputs turned out to be far more complicated than initially hoped for, but it’s not unsolveable. First stage of this has already been added, that’s the drive serial number output with -Dxx.

Already have the -R option stuff in, but so far no output or data collection is present, just depends on time and energy. I pretty much have the logic worked out I think, but the majorly varying output formats distro to distro cause some difficulty that should not be there, but is.

Ja, das ist genau der Sinn von SNMP!
Die MIBs von Net-SNMP (wird eigentlich von jedem Linux benutzt) kann auch durch eigene Befehle ergänzt werden.
Das Ganze kann man dann mittels SNMP Clients oder Tools wie Icinga, Shinken, Nagios, Cacti und jedem anderen Monitoring Tool auslesen und überwachen…

Anfangen sollte man aber mit SNMP Server und Client… 😉
