This release should handle the Fixed Price problems, as well as other issues relating to eBay’s new pages. It should read My eBay Watching pages, as well. […] It should also resolve the international issues (ticket #508).

    „Unable to access jarfile /opt/jbidwatcher/JBidWatcher-2.0beta10.jar“

    Kannst du mir da weiterhelfen?

    Danke Marktrix

  2. Greetings,

@Marktrix – I’m presuming you cut and paste the message you got, which makes it look like a uppercase/lowercase error. The correct filename is:

    JBidwatcher-2.0beta10.jar

    not

    JBidWatcher-2.0beta10.jar

(The W was capitalized in the 1.0.2 version, and that’s how the wiki had it before, but I changed the filename when I went to 2.x. The wiki appears to have the right case, though.)

Instead of doing it from a script, try running it from the command line first, that way you can use tab-completion to make sure you’ve got the right file.

Also, I recommend the following line, instead:

    java -Xmx512m -jar /opt/jbidwatcher/JBidwatcher-2.0beta10.jar

Hope that helps! (I’m going through Google Translation, so I’m not sure I understood exactly right.)

  3. Hallo,
mich würde mal interessieren, ob deine o.g.
    Fehlermeldung:
un Jan 18 14:03:26 CET 2009: Bad/nonexistent key read in bid, or connection failure!
Sun Jan 18 14:03:26 CET 2009: Sun Jan 18 14:03:26 CET 2009: 190279114302 (Eßtisch "Markör" von IKEA, absolut neuwertig) – Bidding €52.00 apparently failed for an unknown reason. Check the auction in the browser, to see if the bid went through anyway.

    @Morgan
Hello Morgan, thanks for showing up 🙂 I’d like to give you a BIG hug for developing JBW and keeping it up to date. Your program rocks big time 🙂

  5. Greetings,
I have a test version (not final release yet) which fixes the bidding problem.

You can get test releases at:
    http://next.jbidwatcher.com

This one is 2.0beta12-741 (as it shows up in the ‚About‘ box).

You can also follow along on this particular problem at:

    http://jbidwatcher.lighthouseapp.com/projects/8037-jbidwatcher/tickets/611-bidding-and-sniping-failed-to-ebayde-with-20beta11

for the bug as filed by @Fayol!

@Christoph – You’re very welcome, and I hope the new version works well for you!

I wish all of you the best of luck with your auctions,

    — Morgan Schweers, CyberFOX!

  6. Hallo, funktioniert JBidWatcher wieder?
