Das Tablet ist primär für Entwickler gedacht und nicht für den Endanwender. Es geht drum Active Plasma rund zu machen und Erfahrungen zur Usability und Stabilität der Software auf einem realen Tablet zu sammeln. Da kommt es nicht drauf an, ob man per WLAN oder 3G im Netz hängt, ein UMTS-Modem würde nur die Kosten nach oben schrauben.

Aber definitiv eine spannende Entwicklung!
Was ich jedoch nicht verstehe, warum werden immer noch in sehr vielen Tablets Kameras (beim dem Formfaktor nicht wirklich praktisch), aber keine 3G-Module eingebaut? Ich will so ein Gerät unterwegs nutzen und nicht nur da, wo ich eh nen stationären Rechner stehen habe (aka Zuhause)…
