This page lists every cookie and every localStorage entry this website uses – as a technical reference to the privacy policy, which explains the legal framework.
Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are required to run the website or a feature you actively chose (section 25(2) TDDDG) and therefore need no separate consent.

Audience measurement – without cookies
How often an article is read is counted by the open-source WordPress plugin Statify directly on this server. No cookie is set and nothing is stored in your browser, so there is nothing to list here. Only the date, the address visited and, if applicable, the referring website are stored – without IP address or identifier, deleted after 365 days. Details in the privacy policy, section 9.
Advertising (Google AdSense) – only with your consent
This website shows ads from Google AdSense. Whether Google sets cookies for them is up to you in Google’s consent dialog; you can change your choice at any time (see “Managing cookies”). Google determines the cookie names and lifetimes – an up-to-date overview is in Google’s overview of advertising cookies. Details and legal basis: privacy policy, section 10.

Managing cookies
You can view, block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings. To see this site’s notice banner again, it is enough to clear the local website data (localStorage) for this domain in your browser – there is no need to delete all cookies.
You can change your choice in the consent dialog for ads at any time: – the link appears once Google’s dialog has loaded (it is not available outside the EU or with an ad blocker). Alternatively, delete the cookies for this domain in your browser.
Detailed explanations of the purposes and legal basis are in the privacy policy.
